Telehealth Consent & Financial Transparency

Understanding telehealth

Your consultation is with an identified independent medical consultant using Obra Health Inc.’s technology platform. The consultant is not an employee of Obra Health Inc. ObraRx Inc. provides pharmacy services if you choose to obtain medication through Obra.

Telehealth may use health questionnaires and asynchronous messages or a live audio/video consultation. It can reduce travel and improve access, but not every physical examination can be performed remotely. Incomplete information, connection failures and privacy incidents can delay care or require an in-person assessment.

After onboarding, you may request your preferred format. Your doctor decides whether it is clinically sufficient and may require tests, a live consultation or in-person care. You may ask questions, choose another provider, decline treatment or withdraw your agreement to continue remotely. Any fees are handled under the cancellation policy without removing your legal rights.

Your participation

Provide accurate medical information, your current location and a callback number. Use a private space where possible, disclose other participants and tell the doctor if you cannot understand the advice. If disconnected, retry and contact care@obra.health to arrange reconnection or rescheduling. If a technical failure prevents completion of a paid consultation, you may choose a free reschedule or refund of that consultation fee.

This is not an emergency service. Seek immediate in-person care or contact local emergency services when needed; do not wait for a support reply.

Treatment decisions

A consultation does not guarantee medication or a health outcome. Your doctor explains relevant benefits, risks and alternatives. General telehealth consent does not replace treatment-specific discussion and consent, including discussion of compounded preparations or a proposed use outside an approved indication.

You may request a copy of a valid prescription for use at another appropriately licensed pharmacy, subject to dispensing rules. Choosing another pharmacy does not change your doctor’s obligation to exercise independent clinical judgment.

Clinical notes and optional recording

Your consultant documents care in clinical notes. If recording is offered, you receive a separate notice describing its purpose, what is captured, who can access it, storage, retention and withdrawal arrangements. Recording requires prior consent from you, the consultant and all other participants.

You may decline recording or ask for it to stop and request an unrecorded consultation where clinically suitable. Clinical notes are still required. Recording consent does not authorize public sharing, marketing or AI-model training.

Fees and financial relationships

A standalone consultation costs ₱990. If you purchase an eligible medication program within 30 days after that consultation is completed, the payment is credited once toward the program. The credit expires after that period. Consultations included in a medication program carry no additional consultation charge. A completed standalone consultation remains payable even without a prescription.

If the initial clinical assessment finds you unsuitable for a prepaid medication program, the full program payment is refunded, including when its included consultation has already occurred. A consultation-only fee is not imposed retrospectively.

Obra Health engages independent consultants for consultations and medical guidance. Their remuneration is not based on medicine sales or prescriptions issued. Obra Health Inc. and ObraRx Inc. are separate legal entities under common ownership. Your order summary identifies the suppliers, collecting entity and charges before payment. Ask care@obra.health for an explanation of relevant charges or financial relationships.

Your consent

“I have read the telehealth information, understand its limitations and alternatives, and have had the opportunity to ask questions. I voluntarily agree to receive this consultation from the identified medical consultant using Obra Health’s platform.”

This agreement is separate from any optional recording or marketing choice and any specific health-data consent required for the processing described to you.
